Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. might be going out of their way to remind us that “not all heroes are super,” but that doesn’t mean a certain super-soldier won’t feel the repercussions of the events taking place in the series.
So if we don't watch the show we are out of the loop? Gee thanks Marvel <sigh> I don't know why but despite having a good concept the shows actors minus Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders are bad actors that don't draw you in at all. With all the money Marvel makes did they have to get such bad actors, either that or write the show round a smaller team, the hacker and the asian chick are not needed in my opinion....even the lab geeks at times.
While a huge Marvel fan, I still haven't watched the show lol Being on TV it just needs something to peek my interest. The way they advertised it was like a stereotypical cop/CSI style movie with super hero's mixed in, so I lost interest. Is that what it is? Or is it more about hero's and comic book stuff?
"Or is it more about hero's and comic book stuff?" Well I'll tell you something, another reason I was put off the first episode aside from the awful characters was that the plot was focused round the god awful, changed extremis storyline....the one from Iron Man 3...not the comics. I was like "REALLY....", they chose to go with one of the things they've done from the comics that ended up being done badly
I've seen the first episode of the show and I can say that I didn't love it but I did have fun watching it. I'll likely just wait until I can find the time to check it out after the season is over or play catch up during the Christmas break.
You can always go online and read in a few paragraphs what an entire season may take to explain. There are easy ways to figure it out. That being said there has only been one episode that I liked and it was with Gravitron. Besides that one episode I am having trouble finding any redeeming qualities in the show.
Im surprised to hear how frequently and often that sentiment is expressed about this show.
