Otaku Dome's Curse of Chucky review:
Chucky is back and he’s scary again!
Curse of Chucky is a 2013 horror film, it is a sequel/prequel to the original Child’s Play, while also tying up loose ends to the previous sequels of the franchise. It is written by Don Mancini and produced/distributed by Universal Home Entertainment. It is currently available on VOD services as of today, and will be released on DVD/Blu-Ray this coming October.
WARNING: THIS REVIEW INCLUDES NEAR COMPLETE SPOILERS FOR THE FILM EXCEEDING A FEW SCENES I THOUGHT WERE MEANT TO BE SEEN INSTEAD OF TOLD, IF YOU’RE AFRAID OF BEING SPOILED AVOID UNTIL YOU HAVE SEEN THE FILM.
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
Deliver Me Review: The Swedish series follows two troubled teen and their troublesome lives when one of them is shot dead.
Fight For Paradise Review: This reality show is nothing new but there are so many uncomfortable moments that will definitely give you the ick.
AWESOME! I didn't read the review because I want to see the movie but based ont he score I'm excited.
Like I said in the review, fandom wise the movie was absolutely fantastic.
I'm surprised they passed up theaters for this. Simply writing Chucky on a movie poster is sure to bring in millions, no matter how good or bad the movie is.
I would have LOVED to have seen the post credit sequence with a theater crowd. The movie itself was surprisingly solid, but that extra ending was icing on the cake.
Not a bad film there were a couple of plot holes but wont post due to spoilers.
I really wish they had made it a reboot instead of sequel. I find this "story" of chucky had dried out. Keep the same actor hes fantastic but new story line so a proper reboot.
It would have been better in the cinemas but even better if it was rebooted. I loved the effects for chucky himself. The face was good.
It needed a bigger story and maybe a better supporting cast. I found the best person in the film probably was chucky and maybe wheelchair girl thats it. Rest felt really "straight to dvd" quality
