After the surprise impact that 2009′s “Star Trek” reboot left on fans and even non-fans of Starfleet, it’s sequel, released in May 2013, “Star Trek Into Darkness” was sure to live up to that right? Well it did and it is now out on Blu-ray and DVD to own. The movie itself is definitely my number one movie of the year so far, this movie can appeal to absolutely anyone whether you like Star Trek or not. It has some heart-stopping action sequences, a truly chilling yet mesmerizing performance from Benedict Cumberbatch as fan-favorite Khan and the visuals are absolutely stunning (I’ll talk more about those later). Also, something that you rarely get is that every single actor in the movie plays their part perfectly and just feels the part.
