If you're not a fan of gore, then you won't like this film. It truly is one of the most hardcore mainstream horror films we've seen in a while. You name it, Evil Dead's got it: dismemberment, mutilation, evisceration ... all by the boatloads. Sure, some of it's there for shock value, but it all has a purpose and doesn't feel gratuitous. If you fancy yourself a gore-hound, then you'll dig this film immensely.
