I think this would be a mistake if they really plan to make a Justice League series. I can't see this iteration of Batman working there.

yeah especially those rumours of a batman solo movie after the justice league that was to be inspired by arkham asylum

honestly batman beyond might sound better as a live action tv series rather then movies that only needs to carry itself.

but then again those that made man of steel are approaching superman as if its never been done on film so whos to say they wont twist batman around in some form no?

I just prefer the typical batman character. Bruce Wayne. Maybe toss in Robin into the mix but none of the Nightwing stuff, or Batman Beyond, or future sci-fi version.

Way too early to even think about a reboot, but why not? I mean I am open to that idea.

Much as I'd LOVE to see a Batman Beyond film, I don't see it working well in conjunction with a Justice League film. Sure, it would obviously be Old Batman becomes young Batman, but I just can't imagine feeling the right kind of connection to the character if that's the case. Unless they use Nolan's Batman for the Justice League film (which I think they should).

I really don't see the need to reboot Batman, even if they want to take him in a different direction to Nolan's, do they really need to tell the origin story again? Maybe that's where I'm getting hung up on the idea. Regardless, I'm still looking forward to it.

And yes, a Batman Beyond film please!

If they can get Bale to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne and see him train the new Batman it could work.

Unfortunately, I see still haven't watched (or at least recall watching) any of the Batman Beyond episodes yet so I can't say whether this could be good or bad.

I'll trust what the others have stated above, for now.

Do you even Netflix, bro?

My eyes filled with tears of joy when they added Justice League, JLU, and Batman Beyond. Now if only they added Batman:tas and Superman:tas.

"Do you even Netflix, bro?"

Sometimes, but there's so much other stuff I need to get around to watching and not enough time. :(

Just give us a straight to DVD animated film with one of your better writers. The show doesn't need a reboot, we don't need a big budget movie, and the BB universe has never exactly gelled well with the main cannon.

I would be down with a live-action Batman Beyond film, for sure.

Why not start with Superman/Batman (Man of Steel/The Dark Knight) film first, as a set up to the Justice League?
