Hugh Jackman Wants to Fight Alongside The Avengers and Spider-Man as Wolverine

Collider

As far as studio tentpoles are concerned, the superhero genre is undoubtedly the most popular go-to avenue for blockbusters at the moment. Marvel has now built a cohesive cinematic universe in which its many characters interact with each other across different movies—just as in the comic books—and DC is attempting to get its act together at Warner Bros. with the same idea. However, studios are limited as to which characters they can use in the films due to rights ownership, despite the fact that the real Avengers includes not only Iron Man and Captain America, but also Spider-Man and, at times, members of the X-Men franchise. (Cinema, Hugh Jackman)

That would be phenomenal to see Wolfie fight alongside Avengers and Spidey.

Also, if so, Wolverine should fight either Hulk or Iron Man; As fighting Hulk, it would just be quite epic with Wolfie´s healing ability, and Iron Man cuz of their personalities are bound to clash.

A lot of people forget that Hulk healing ability is just as good as Wolverines if not better in some things.
Audiggity  +   779d ago
Good point, not a lot of people remember the science behind mutant healing capabilities...

So, in what circumstances can the Hulk heal better than Wolverine?
RickHiggity  +   779d ago
That's why a fight would be fun to watch.
Hergula  +   778d ago
I never mentioned it because it is obvious, so why mention it?

Hmmmm, well, I never said that Hulk couldn´t heal, I just said the fight between the two would be awesome because Wolverine could go up against Hulk BECAUSE, he too, has healing ability.
Simon_Brezhnev  +   778d ago
Calm down i never said you didnt know. Wolverine went against the hulk plenty of times and 9 times out of 10 he lost. Would be cool to see Hulk against all of X-men though even though he beat them all together before.

lol MAKE IT HAPPEN PEOPLE "ahem"

would be interesting to see hopfully it comes to fruition
Crazay  +   779d ago
Or would be pretty sweet for sure to see some sort of collaboration but I think it's a pipe dream. Is never going to happen. At least not in the next 10 years... If ever at all.

I love this guy's attitude, he takes the Wolverine role very serious. The fact remains no one can play Wolverine better than him

It is indeed time for "studio crossovers" , they could still if they want strike deals for ponctual uses of characters under some supervision of course .
GenericNameHere  +   779d ago
And he wants to do it for the fans! Come on, yes, please do a studio crossover! At least do it for RDJ and Hugh Jackman! They're both getting old (but still do their roles perfectly), and we want to see them in the same team before they get replaced by newer actors.
CanadianTurtle  +   779d ago
Translation: He just wants to be a part of a movie that actually does well in terms of box office numbers
worldwidegaming  +   779d ago
Maybe he just read a comic and said "hey, my character fights that guy so lets do that!"
Sorry but due to contracts in real life we can't do that.
What? Its in the same world!
It'll never happen. In X-men, New York has been aware of superhumans (mutants) since the 60's. While in The Avengers (present day) the general public acts like superhumans are a new thing. Plus The Avengers are very well received while mutants are sorta feared and hated o_o So they are obviously from two very different continuities. The Oscorp tower from The Amazing Spider-man was almost in The Avengers so Spidey is a possibility. Especially if Sony & Marvel/Disney already had some sort of talk about a cross-over. Still it would be awesome :/

they're not real bro..........
Porcelain_Chicken  +   779d ago
Really?!!??! Do you mean these superheroes with fantastical abilities that I've been reading from fictional comic styled books for about 15 years don't exist and are a figment of a writer's imagination? :OOOOOO No F**KING WAY!! Just wait till the fellas hear about this.

Pfft, And here we all thought these movie characters that are from a fictional comic book meant purely for entertainment purposes were REAL characters lol. You sir deserve a holiday named after you or something. Seriously, GOOD JOB.

Oh and Blondie,,, shame on you for making sense!
Uhm, ok "bro"... That really added to the comment section. Careful you might strain your fingers or damage your keyboard. xP

@PorcelainChicken
lol My bad. I was just putting 2 and 2 together. I'll try to keep my comments shorter (3-4 words), less on-topic, and I'll try & end it with bro or dude with like a billion dots.......................... ................... even though 3 is the standard ellipsis lol.

DDDDDdoooooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiittttttttt!!!

Sony is open to working with Marvel, so I find all this "sony needs to let spider-man go" stuff rather stupid. If it wasn't for Sony, comic book movies wouldn't have had that giant push from Spider-Man to begin with....

Fox on the other hand isn't so great about their licenses.... so I can understand wanting them to let theirs go.
Agent_hitman  +   779d ago
There will be complications, X-men movies were exclusive to Fox, while Spider Man movies were licensed by Sony..
