Richard of PopCults.com writes "The film was fun to watch, I won’t take that away, but it failed to entertain while using the name The Lone Ranger and that is nothing short of a travesty. Honestly, they could have titled the film anything other than The Lone Ranger and it may have worked better than it did… but because they chose to use the name of The Lone Ranger there are a certain number of expectations that moviegoers would have of the film – none of which were met with any kind of satisfaction in its final presentation."
