Collider:
The previous trailer for writer-director Scott Walker’s The Frozen Ground painted the picture as a by-the-numbers thriller pitting Nicolas Cage as an Alaskan detective out to catch a serial killer (John Cusack) with the help of one of his recently-escaped would-be victims (Vanessa Hudgens). This newly-cut UK trailer does a much better job at highlighting the real-life atrocities behind the serial-kidnapper/murderer Robert Hansen and sets a much different tone by cutting out dialogue, allowing the Alaskan wilderness to speak for itself and removing Hudgens entirely. The Frozen Ground opens August 23rd stateside and this new trailer has helped to move it up a notch on my radar. Hit the jump to check it out and make sure to scope out these exclusive images from the film.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I think this is going to be good but only because I know about the real story when this happened.
