Ryan Reynolds Exits 'Highlander' Reboot at Summit

The Wrap
When it comes to "Highlander" stars, there can only be one. Now, however, there are none, as TheWrap has learned that Ryan Reynolds has exited Summit Entertainment's upcoming reboot, leaving producers Neal Moritz and Peter Davis back at square one.

In a way...that's good news. I love Ryan but he's not the right choice for this part. They need to find someone else.

No he's not right for this part. He's good, and I generally like him in films, but he can't play the brooding loner that Connor MacLeod is.

Perhaps now they'll hire an actual Scottish actor! ( http://www.cinelinx.com/mov...

Methinks Richard Madden would be up to the task. And I'm not just saying that because I'm a GoT fanboy.

Wow Highlander doesn't need a reboot. It's going to be awful like the new Total Recall. Anywhoo I'm not fond of Reynolds.
