That is actually an incredible casting decision. The guy is awesome in Kick-Ass.

He's also the lead in the new Godzilla movie...besides Godzilla.

I always associated Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch with the X-Men division of Marvel, more so than the Avengers division. Should be interesting to see what Whedon has in store for the characters.

@deadpool616 - meant to reply to you directly but here ya go

"Quicksilver is one of two new characters director Joss Whedon is introducing in the sequel, along with the Scarlet Witch. They are twins whose father is Magneto, whose rights are owned by 20th Century Fox."

"Both Marvel and Fox share rights to the Quicksilver character, as Bryan Singer recently cast Johnson's "Kick-Ass" co-star Evan Peters as Quicksilver in 20th Century Fox's "X-Men: Days of Future Past.""

Well he better start working out. Too scrawny to be Quicksilver.

Well doesn't look like it will be too hard for him. some pics show he's already in decent shape. Just not Marvel shape. Maybe another 10-20 lbs of muscle.
