Wow, is 2013 going to be a hell of a year for horror or what? James Wan's first film The Conjuring hasn't even hit theaters yet, which will be released July 19th, yet tonight I found myself at a special event for the World Premiere screening of the very first trailer for James Wan's second directorial effort of 2013, Insidious: Chapter 2. Being that Insidious was hands-down one of my favorite horror movies of 2011, I was giddy with anticipation during the initial cocktail hour which calmed the ravenous group of horror fans waiting for the first taste of Wan's much anticipated sequel. Could it live up to the overnight success of Wan's original?!
