The Dark Knight actor Eric Roberts has been cast in Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence). Franchise producer Ilona Six confirmed that the star, who was Oscar-nominated for playing an escaped convict in 1985′s Runaway Train, will appear in the third film of the notorious horror series.
In a rare appearance, it has been confirmed that Eric Roberts will be a guest at California Republic Comic Con 2018.
EW: When writer-director Tom Six unleashed the first Human Centipede film onto an unsuspecting world back in 2010 it’s hard to imagine many people thought it would one day become a full-fledged trilogy. Actually, it’s hard to imagine many people thought anyone would make a movie about people being surgically stitched together to form a single digestive tract in the first place. But that’s a discussion for another day. EW can exclusively reveal that Human Centipede Part 3 (Final Sequence) will be released to theaters and VOD on May 22. The film stars Dieter Laser from the original Human Centipede film, Laurence R. Harvey from Part 2, and franchise newbie Eric Roberts. Director Six promises that the movie is “100 percent politically incorrect.”
EW: Eric Roberts and his spouse Eliza Roberts were guests on Monday’s episode of Entertainment Weirdly on EW’s Sirius XM channel to discuss their episode of Celebrity Wife Swap, which airs Tuesday. But we couldn’t let the Dark Knight star and onetime Oscar nominee leave without asking him about his upcoming film Human Centipede 3, the third entry of the notorious horror franchise in which people are attached together to form the grotesque titular creature.
Why are they making another of these movies?
i think they should have stopped in part 2, there is nothing left to do in this series unless pit another dozen characters and another scenario. while the more the people they put, the more unrealistic and idiotic it gets.
