So you came home from Star Trek Into Darkness this weekend, and you were a little bit nervous. Maybe the movie didn’t live up to your expectations, and you’re suddenly concerned by what Trek director J.J. Abrams is going to do with his next project … you know, a little franchise named Star Wars.
The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 15 and 16 Review: The finale episodes have much going on but still don't answer everything.
Warner Bros. has not gotten its money's worth from Bad Robot.
The Hollywood Reported brings word today that a direct Cloverfield sequel is now in development, with J.J. Abrams producing.
I personally, find J.J.Abrams as a great director.
I recall him recently stated he didn't like Star Trek as a kid. Since that's the opposite case for SW, I'm a bit less worried since that passion of his childhood is fueling the project; however, I still can't find the supposed directing talent (some even claiming Spielberg-esque) so many say he possesses.
Part of my reasons are properly explained in this video: http://www.escapistmagazine...
I think he will do well on making episode 7 plus he did state that he is more of a star wars fan than a star trek fan so basically he will be twice as good and devoted to the star wars projects.
I think J.J. Abrams is overrated in many respects. I'm still disappointed by his take on Mission: Impossible III
