Deadline:
There are several comedy and drama pilots not picked up to series yet that are still in play. But among returning scripted series, only one, NBC drama Hannibal, went through the upfronts without learning its fate. The series, from Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller, got off to a solid ratings start and was in serious contention for an early renewal. The numbers eventually tapered off, and NBC put the renewal decision on hold.
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
I have been keeping up with this and it is very gruesome but interesting at the same time. I can see where some would have reservations about the show but maybe it just need to be shown at a later time.
I enjoy the show, but aside from the gruesome scenes, I don't know if the show is really that great. Hannibal doesn't play much of the main role in this show. I don't know if it should be called Hannibal.
