Toronto Sun: Michael Shannon will be reviled all over movie theaters this summer.
Shannon, 38, is the chief villain in Man of Steel, the highly-anticipated Superman reboot that opens next month.
He's also the lead in The Iceman, a grim little drama about professional assassin Richard Kuklinski. That film, which co-stars Ray Liotta and Winona Ryder, opens in select cities Friday before rolling out across Canada.
If it initially surprised comic book fans to consider Shannon as General Zod in Man of Steel, it came as just as big a surprise to the actor.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I bet he is...that's one of the biggest roles in any movie. It's almost as important if not more important than the hero role. The villian is never forgotten.
he is a very wise choice to play zod and will give the character more dimensions, i like that he is happy doing his part by the time man of steel opens he will be more happier seeing positive critical reactions from fans.
He's going to be the highlight of this movie, I think.
