Deadline:
FOX just made its new drama series pickups, ordering four shows — Rake starring Greg Kinnear, Gang Related starring Ramon Rodriguez, Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci’s Sleepy Hollow, and Almost Human, from the Fringe duo of J.H. Wyman and J.J. After last season’s experiment with Mob Doctor, Fox went unapologetically male with its new hours, all toplined by male actors — Kinnear (Rake), Rodriguez (Gang Related), Brit Tom Mison (Sleepy Hollow), — who is poised to be one of the breakout stars next season — and Karl Urban and Michael Ealy (Almost Human).
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
A couple of these actually sound good.
Sleepy Hollow: nice! I think a period setting would have been cooler, modeled after Johnny Depp's movie in look.
