Police corruption, mafia ties, and a hostage situation. These are not the typical things you expect to find at the local diner. This is however the setting for Pawn. This attempt at a tense crime thriller stars Forest Whitaker, Common, Michael Chiklis, Sean Farris, and Ray Liotta. With the quality of actors in this film, Pawn had the potential to tell a very compelling story.
