Hellboy 3 Must Happen, Says Perlman

Today at the Ron Perlman Q&A in the IGN Theater at C2E2, Hellboy himself, Ron Perlman, answered the one question most on fans' minds: Will we get a Hellboy 3?

While mimicking a prize fighter punching, Perlman said, "I've been giving Guillermo body shots for two years. We both walked away from Hellboy 2 agreeing that there would never be another one. But, with the passage of time, it became clear to me that he really always designed it as a trilogy. He has a very well-articulated idea of what the resolve would look like and it's amazingly theatrical and is epic in scope and would make for amazing cinema, with or without the first two movies.

He is so right. I recently caught these movies again on Netflix and they were just as fun as I remembered making me think there should be a 3rd movie. Perlman was born for that role. I sure hope they get on it.

I know right Hell Boy 2 last fight scene was some of the best hollywood did. IMO. It felt like a martial arts scene when they did it.

yup, hellboy 2 has those good fight scenes and some of Guillermo del Toro's previous works has done great fight sequences too just like on blade 2.

we deserve a trilogy! guillermo del toro should make this film as soon as possible, ron perlman isnt getting younger. i hope the selma blair will return as well, because it will be incomplete without her.

I wouldn't mind a third film, i liked the other two.

I'd rather a third or even fourth Hellboy than the amazing spiderman 2

the first two were brilliant, and i'd love to see what happens next, especially after the way the second one ended.

the second one ended with some questions unanswered like the fact hellboy was the prophecy of destruction and as a whole part 2 looked like a middle movie deserving a satisfying ending. i wonder why its taking them so long to produce the third since the second film was financially and critically well received.
