Digital Times

Season 4 of "The Walking Dead" may be months away but we've got some casting scoop that fans have been hungry for.

It's been reported to iDigitalTimes that "Waterboy" actor Lawrence Gilliard Jr. is in talks to join season 4 of "The Walking Dead" in a new series regular role.

TVLine.com revealed back in early April that AMC was holding a casting call for the series regular role of Roy Stark. Stark is reportedly a "former army medic who is deeply haunted by his past."

Roy Stark? a new character that's not in the comics.. sounds interesting indeed. Sounds like a new recruit for the governor, Well I'll be surprised if this character is somehow connected to Abraham if they bring him on season 4.

Abraham is a moderately interesting character. Id be down with seeing him in some capacity.

introducing a medic means lights out for Herschel

probably...or he's going to be a nutso member of the governors crew...or maybe something entirely different

Nice thought there. That is possible indeed.

What's with acting and the name STARK these days. :/

i hope he proclaims himself the king in the north

it's ok but it should have been better if they used a different and much original name.

I'm not too concerned about the plot for next season. I just know that I'm ready for it to come back. I know it will be full of good episodes. Carl is going to be a challenge for Rick now that he's growing up so fast and all the new people will present problems not to mention that there's never an end to the zombies.

The zombies have become a non existent feature of the walking dead, people are killed by more bullets than teeth.

Walkers are still threatening but they are not as smart and as threatening compared to people specially twisted ones like the governor. plus the governor had only killed two protagonist so far, merle and axel ( I'm not counting the season finale woodbury folks gun down by him). others that we lost on season 3 were killed by the walkers.

The governor has also massacred the Woodburys town people, they were over 15.

But finales should end with zombies, I LOVED the season 2 finales, it was epic.
