Popmatters: Not much. Or put another way, not much that we didn't already know. Yet, the MTV Movie Awards have argued that, more than any other mainstream celebration of cinema, they have their finger on the pulse of the under 30 populace.
i always have watched the mtv movie awards annually and i do not see how that particular awards ceremony shows the state of cinema. year after year it always an awards show for films and stars who are famous among audiences whose majority are teenagers. this year was not any different from the last 5 years and even the last 10 years.
MTV awards are fun. Shudn't take it seriously and yet very entertaining.
