The trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire arrived at the MTV Movie Awards, and it's awesome.
I love Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games trilogy. It's certainly more than passable young adult fiction - it is a realistic, gritty and meaningful allegory on war and reality TV. Aside from that though, they are simply compelling stories.
Catching Fire, which one may call the trilogy’s equivalent to The Empire Strikes Back, is my personal favorite of the books. Thankfully, this trailer is showing promise for something truly memorable.
