Mix The Breakfast Club with House on a Haunted Hill. Add a dash of Poltergeist. Top it off with a layer of I Know What You Did Last Summer. Sounds like a tasty dish, no? Admittedly, it sounds like enough to be fun to me. And apparently co-creators Matthew Spradlin and Barry Wernick felt as such, too. The problem here is that Spradlin and Wernick allow this dish to become overcooked, paying too much attention to the festivities and allowing the main course itself to become a bit stale.
