10 Film Adaptations of Comics

After film adaptations of games, the next cross over is obviously film adaptations of comics & graphic novels. Considering we have been and still are going through the biggest boom of comics to films, it made sense. So let's take a look at what are the top 10 films made from comics. (Culture)

The Avengers is definitely the best adaptation presently.

Watchmen is a close second.

Don't know why Captain America didn't get in the lists'.. it was a very good film with great story/plot. Topnotch points on their rendition of his costume on-screen.

300 I thought was so forgettable.

Dont agree with the rating of the list. No V for Vendetta also?

yeah, v for vendetta is a nice entry and surprisingly not included in the list.

of the less mainstream comic book movies, Ghost world was one of my favourites.

another great one not on the list was American Splendor, starring Paul Giamatti as Harvey Pekar, the real Pekar also cameoed.
it's based on the semi autobiographical comic written by Pekar

Giamatti was brilliant in this.
it's just a damn good film.
weird, but good.

Ohh yeah! American Splendor had Josh Hutcherson in it as well didn't it?

I saw Ghost World when I was 9 and 10 years later I still have a crush on Steve Buscemi. That's right, judge me

i think watchmen was the best adaptation of comics, i didnt mean it was the best movie in the list because avengers i think is more superior overall but if you basely count the adaptation aspect watchmen and dark knight did it well. sin city & kick ass were done well but i saw the comics was more violent and both those mentioned film were tamed violence that were held back.

^^ I kinda agree with you, The watchmen always goes unnoticed.
