Richard of PopCults.com writes "Right off the bat, and pretty much as I expected, G.I. Joe: Retaliation is a much better film than its predecessor, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Of course that isn’t saying much but believe me, it is a world of difference. While there are bouts of extreme silliness in the film, they are much more believable than half the crap that maligned the first film. And to be honest actually make the film just a bit more enjoyable. Still, there are a few flaws that keep this film from being anything memorable."
