We Got This Covered writes: G. I. Joe: Retaliation could best be described as formulaic, in that it seems like it was made from a recipe. Take two parts Bruce Willis and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and mix for 100 minutes. Add Channing Tatum to focus group audience taste. Bake for nine months, and serve mild.
Testament The Story of Moses Review: The series depicts Moses' journey from an outcast and murderer to a prophet and liberator of the Hebrews. It interweaves docudrama and interviews, to present a more humanly image of the prophet.
Rest In Peace Review: A man in debt disappears. Years later, he considers reconnecting with his family, but his previous life takes him by surprise.
Nerd Reactor writes that a new international post has revealed the return of a fan-favorite Toho monster.
The sequel improved on the first in some ways, Cobra's look, The Rock, action. But once the ninja's teamed up, the bad guys didn't have a chance. The film lacked challenge after that and grew predictable. It would have been cool to see a backup villain take on the ninjas and carry over into PT 3. They didn't have to kill off such cool characters as Duke and Zartan! Lady Jay seemed unnecessarily dolled up too with make up IMO. The sequel's a step in the right direction at least.
I didn't expect this to have such low score.
