Biggest Hannibal Trailer Yet Shines a Light on the Show's Darkness

IGN:
Using the movie terminology of calling it a "red band trailer," this latest look at Hannibal is the longest and most graphic preview yet for NBC's new series. The new take on a younger Hannibal Lecter and his relationship with profiler Will Graham, Hannibal comes from Bryan Fuller (Pushing Daisies, Wonderfalls).

My review is coming in the next few days, but I can tell you this is one cool, edgy and twisted show. As this trailer hints, Hannibal doesn't feel at all like its holding back, despite airing on network TV.

The story is too old to be commented.

It will be hard to watch some of this.

Mads Mikkelsen has been my favorite villain ever since I saw him in Casino Royale. He is the perfect actor for this, and makes it all that more interesting. Can't wait for this one..

I know...from the beginning I knew I was going to watch this show...I've just got a quizzy stomach and some of it will still bother me. He is great as the bad guy.

I've never been more excited to see a bad guy :P

He was a little boring in Clash of the Titans, but im willing to chalk that up to poor writing, not acting.

Arghhh!

I cant view the trailer, sadly my "country" does not allow it... who knows... that F***

Sahil1344d ago

It's on dailymotion too, if you want to see so badly :D

Hergula1344d ago

Thanks, Ill probably check it out.

This almost seems like a show that would air more on a channel like HBO or Showtime. The promos on NBC still don't make it look like a show made for network television.

they did a good trailer strong enough to attract horror lovers. this is worth checking out. the three leads could hold their own but i still think anthony hopkins really made the hannibal character his own like heath ledger did with joker but seeing the bad guy in casino royale he might make a decent portrayal close to hopkins.
