Bautista seems to be making some headway in Hollywood. I never would have guessed it. Good for him.

he has the acting experience from the WWE he trains MMA so he is very athletic, and his physique definitely matches that of DRax

Sigh so there goes any chance of actually seeing Drax portrayed as a decent character. Issues of humanity, impotence & fatherhood replaced with staring blankly at walls and grunting whenever he talks/punches things.

Would have liked an actual actor to do the character justice.

Co-sign. Bautista couldn't act to save his own life; I'm shocked at the positive reception this news has been getting. May as well cast Taylor Lautner, while they're at it.

Lautner as Drax... hahaha (made my day)

You can bet that Drax will be over-the-top intense and an aggressive character now. Hope there's a Hulk and Drax team-up scene in The Avengers 2!
