Spartacus: War of the Damned: "Blood Brothers" Review | Metal Arcade

Metal Arcade: Jason Bakker writes:

War of the Damned is far from over, but this episode truly had me believing that Spartacus might meet his end sooner than expected. Featuring some expertly crafted twists and turns, "Blood Brothers" was a fantastic episode that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Caesar continues to pit Crixus and Spartacus against each other, widening the divide and bringing back a sense of intense hatred between the two not seen since Season 1. While we unfortunately didn't get to see an all-out brawl between the two (like with Crixus and Gannicus last week), you could cut the tension with a knife. (Spartacus: War of the Damned, TV) 9.3/10

I agree! I've watched every episode.

So far, this is the best episode of the season.

After S1 it went downhill, the new actor doesn't even look buff.

I'll stick to The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad, I am done with Spartacus.

Show is decent ,but S1 was to good.

yeah hes not really buff but so what? no other show has as much gruesome violence, sex and roman style speech (which i love)

all seasons where good in my opinion, each progressing the overall story

and since you watch walking dead and breaking bad im sure you have noticed there is a serious lack of top quality shows you would even put in the same league as those shows

I heard Game of Thrones is good, I don't know if it has sex in it.

@silvacrest

Please, don't call that kind of speaking "Roman Style". It's a unique style I give you that but it's far from the way Romans actually talked.

@TheOneEyedHound

Being buff has nothing to do with it. In fact the people who are buff usually are servants of others. Leaders are usually not the biggest guy on the block but the most charismatic and smartest out of them all. Not a brute like Crixus for example.

Breaking Bad is always great, but I gotta say Walking Dead is putting me to sleep lately. And Season 2 was terrible.
TheOneEyedHound  +   878d ago
Yesterday's episode was so strong, maybe the best episode on the series.

ranks up there with Season 2 episode 7.

Surprise these episodes have turned you to sleep, I don't see how.

@TheOneEyedHound

The Walking Dead is getting pretty boring because in all honesty I'm starting to hate every single person in the show. It seams that most of them are complete jerks.

i highly HIGHLY recommend you watch game of thrones ASAP

its got certain elements of Spartacus like violence and sex but has a really unique story thats just getting started, season 3 looks to be epic

i would also recommend house of cards for something very different but still very good
