"We talked about killing Carl in that episode! We really did… unfortunately, you know, by the process of elimination, we got to Axel"

REALLY

Kill him off already...please. I would of said the baby like what happened in the comics but I highly doubt they are going to do that. Plus Carol needs something to do and with the baby and her feelings towards Daryl she's got a good few paths to go down on with the baby around.

Just kill Carl off

I really want to see Rick hitting rock bottom even more, maybe he and Beth could die together so we see both Herschel and Rick go down the same path.

I hope Herschel sticks around though, we need a voice of reason now that Dales gone.

Have to admit though as much as I like this season they havent made the Govenor as bad as they could of. Instead they wasted him developing a relationship with Andrea. I wanted to see the Govenor as a ruthless Dictator but he's not even that bad.

I haven't read the graphic novels so not sure how the Governor is portrayed, however I think in the tv series they've created a fantastic character. He's not a ruthless dictator, he's too cunning for that and that makes him a far more dangerous villain.

Wish they'd kill off carl, hes almost as annoying as his mom was.

I haven't read any of the comics so i don't know what happens, but if I had to guess the bombshell would be glenn. He's reckless now and doesn't offer as much to the group as he used to. They cant magically fix things with maggie or do anything but meaningless tension with merle.
Daryl being the solid #2 and one of the most popular means hes staying, along with merle since despite the reservations he is smart and very capable, more so than glenn.

I know they want shock value, but in truth that's always a gamble, so I don't think people like rick are really on the chopping block, at least until the ratings start to slide. A cut like that could potentially ruin the series, same with fan favorites like daryl. People like glen, but hes far from essential, so that would be my best guess.
