Supernatural: "Trial and Error": IGN Review

IGN:
Already Season 8 of Supernatural has been a big improvement over the previous year or two, and this week’s discovery by Kevin of specific tasks that needed to be done in order to close the gates of hell kept up the momentum. With the last two episodes opening up the series in new ways by introducing the Men of Letters, getting this year’s season-long storyline moving with the three trials was a smart development. (Supernatural, TV) 7.9/10

Finally maybe we'll have some closure but why do I get the feeling that something aweful is going to happen just when they get to the very end of the third trial and that will be the cliff hanger for the season.
