The Americans: "Pilot": IGN Review

IGN:
Advance Review: From The Shield to Damages to Justified and Sons of Anarchy, FX have established themselves with big, bold dramatic series that feel distinct and confident from the get go. That tradition continues with The Americans, which takes the idea of the anti-hero and gives it a twist, focusing on the Cold War in the 1980s and an escalating spy game – but using two undercover KGB spies as the protagonists.

Living outside D.C. in suburbia, Phillip (Matthew Rhys) and Elizabeth Jennings (Keri Russell) seem like a typical married couple. But they are in fact deep cover KGB agents, who have cultivated their falsely constructed life for the past 15 years, doing all they can to help Russia in its growing conflict with the United States.

I'm going to give this show a chance since I like a good spy story. I don't really know how it's written or how it will play out so I'll wait and see.
