Justice League Greenlight Depending on Man Of Steel’s Box Office Success

Last week, we reported that Justice League‘s team would be comprised of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and The Flash. But before those five superheroes can team up, Warner Bros. needs the granddaddy of all superheroes to step up. Buried in an article about Warner Bros. President Jeff Robinov, Variety makes the somewhat unsurprising report that a greenlight on Justice League is dependent on how well Zack Snyder‘s Man of Steel does at the box office.

I guess it's a go then because you that Man of Steel is going to be a big blockbuster when it comes out,

Thats kinda stupid. Batman did well, so if a movie is done right people will see it.

There are plenty of people that like Superman in Justice League, but are not too fond of his stand alone stories.

Plus in my opinion, Green Lantern did fine. However business people call it a failure. So Superman needs to do extremely well, or we get no JL.

They definitely need a strong showing from Man Of Steel. Otherwise, you'll only have Batman in the movie coming from a stable franchise. Green Lantern tanked for the most part, and nothing has been produced with The Flash and Wonder Woman to build from.

man of steel will definitely be a blockbuster success that will satisfy both audience and critics alike. it has a very strong cast, a very promising and stylish director in snyder who directed 300 and watchmen and has a strong foundation with david s goyer and christopher nolan who teamed up for the dark knight. form and substance is a really great formula for success. it would be a serious dog fight in the near future for justice league and avengers.
