Last May, Alfonso Cuaron's sci-fi thriller Gravity was pushed back from November 2012 to an unidentified date in 2013.
Earlier today, Exhibitor Relations tweeted an official release date for the IMAX/3D film, which is now slated for October 4, 2013. Gravity opens alongside the Liam Hemsworth thriller Paranoia, Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Vince Vaughn's comedy The Delivery Man, and the 3D re-release of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
