CW President Comments on Supernatural and Nikita's Renewal Prospects

IGN:
The CW has yet to officially renew any series for next season, though there are obviously a couple of no-brainer decisions – as it’s certain their two biggest series, The Vampire Diaries and Arrow, will be back.

It’s also assumed Supernatural is most likely returning. Despite being in its eighth year, the series is one of the network’s best performers and its move to Wednesday nights this season, paired with Arrow, has been a successful one. (Mark Pedowitz, Nikita, Supernatural, The CW, TV)

I don't care about Nikita but Supernatural should come back. It's been really strong on it's stories this season. It kinda went a little low last season but it's back now and I think it just gets better and better.

The only throw away for Supernatural was the first half of season 1 (when there was no real obvious storyline). Other than that it has had consistently a great story and writing.
