Johnny Depp is producing with his Infinitum Nihil partner Christi Dembrowski. John Carls of Wild Things Productions also is producing. Depp might star in the film, subject to script approval and his schedule.

I want the old Depp back. I'm glad he's doing Jack Sparrow again and I don't care if other people don't like that character or not...he's just the best at it.
I also am looking forward to The Lone Ranger after seeing the trailer...it looks better than I was expecting. I still want to see him do The Thin Man because I could picture him as Nick Charles since I'm so familiar with that character (I've only seen those 6 movies about 50 times).
