Warner Bros. has put together a new trailer for Guillermo del Toro‘s Pacific Rim for Qualcomm’s presentation at CES 2013. The story is kicked off by the rise of monsters (known as Kaiju) from the sea who start a war that devastates humanity. To fight back, the humans build giant robots (known as Jaegers) that are controlled by two pilots. We here at Collider support a movie that gives Del Toro $200 million dollars to design sea monsters and giant robots that fight each other. The trailer delivers on that promise with new footage.
