FTG Writes: After former military officer James Barr played by Joseph Sikora (Safe, Trust, Shutter Island) is accused of murdering 5 innocent civilians in cold blood he asks for Jack Reacher played by Tom Cruise (Rock of Ages, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Knight and Day), an ex-military policeman and a ghost who’s been off the radar, to look into it because there may be more to the case than initially suspected. Jack Reacher uses all his military training with the help of James Barr’s attorney to get to the bottom of the case and find out what really happened.
The plot in Jack Reacher initially follows the titular protagonist trying to find out what the truth of the shooting is and with the help of Helen played by Rosamund Pike (Wrath of the Titans, Devil You Know, Johnny English Reborn), James’ lawyer, clearing James Barr of the murders to find out the true killer. While on the case for the real killer, it seems that the murders weren’t just a simple frame job but something more sinister was being planned.
