New Image From Man of Steel Featuring Henry Cavill As Superman

CMB

After the trailer release, the buzz for Man Of Steel is at an all time high. Looking to capitalize on the buzz, Warner Brothers has released a new photo from the movie that features Superman and the military. (Cinema, Man of Steel)

This movie doesn't like like fun. It just seems very dramatic and gloomy.

yeah, cause a trailer is going to indicate the entire movie. Its suppose to be dramatic and deep for the sake of grabbing attention and creating that hype, since drama has that effect, especially concerning superman's responsibilities...it fits perfectly.

Actually the movie trailer is supposed to give you an idea of what to expect from it. If it is all gloom and boring then... well not likely you are going to get an exciting action flick.

that's why I like it! I'm completely bored of the dumb campy approach of the recent Marvel movies to be honest, their jokes are always so stupid it makes me cringe every time. And is even worse when you watch them on the theater and everybody laughs like if the silly jokes were funny when they are just stupidly awkward and tacky. =/

He just doesn't fit the Superman mold. He seems a bit too old in the face here (but he's only 28), his facial features are a bit too dark. I don't know what it is, but he just doesn't have the Superman look.

Maybe a smile, or a more relaxed face would help.

I think it is maybe the huge ass crack in the middle of his chin that makes him look... well... just odd.

@Legion

LMAO. That's so mean. Funny, but mean.

So they lose the hair curl and make his outfit look like a textured almost chainmail? Trying to re-identify the Superman image completely?? Might as well drop the S then?

If you don't like what the Superman image is then don't make a movie. Don't change the image just to try and make money. DC needed a bit more control to make sure the character didn't lose who he is supposed to be.

there's nothing wrong with the outfit, it looks better and more ALIEN-like. My only real issue is the darker colors..it's too dark, IMO.

Just looking at the previous outfits in comparison is laughable. This supes looks a lot more serious and just overall better.

I like the new outfit. The guy is an alien so his suit should reflect that. I also like that the movie is a bit darker and from the looks of it more serious. Change is not always bad case and point the dark night. No more saving cats from trees please. The guy is crazy powerful. It's time we see that power on screen. Just my opinion.

My biggest gripe of the movie is Amy Adams. Why the hell is she Lois lane. IMO She looks too old and not (I hate to say this) good looking enough.. :/ That aside I can't wait.

I like the outfit to be honest, I just wish it had red cuff-lings or wrists w/e you call it on the suit. I think that would have rounded out the arm really well, if you check pictures of the suit you'll know what part I'm talking about, That should have been red not a continuation of the blue.
