Clickonline writes: "Perhaps purists will balk but there’s also just too much flab here – some of the weaker songs could easily have been excised (many have been trimmed for length already) and the lengthy coda stretched my patience to breaking point. Adaptation means change and a wholehearted copy/paste doesn’t does a disservice to the efforts of everyone involved in this new version." (Cinema, Les Miserables) 2.5/5
