Tiarra Joslyn "I’ve waited a few days to talk about the Doctor Who Christmas Special, The Snowmen, because I wanted people to have a chance to watch it before I talked about my thoughts on the episode. That said, there are spoilers for this episode, so please tread lightly if you haven’t yet had a chance to watch." Warning: Heavy Spoilers!
Dinner with the Parents Review: It's a family comedy series following the Langers, who often turn their family dinners into a disruptively chaotic affair.
Bros Review: The series, as the title suggests, is about two adult men who want to behave like children and we are not here for that.
Going Home With Tyler Cameron Review: This is a simple, no-nonsense but cliched watch, with Cameron's boyish charms taking centre stage.
but who tried to blow up the tardis? i hope you haven't fogotten that Moffat, because the fans haven't.
anyway, great episode, some great comedy moments, especially the scenes with Strax.
Sir Ian McKellen was great as the voice of the, well the voice of the snow, and Richard E Grant was suitably sinister, until the end when he went a bit hammy.
i can't wait for the new series, but i have to. :(
I particularly liked how the story interconnected with the first episode of the series. I was a bit sceptical when they announced the new assistant would be Jenna-Louise Coleman, purely as her character featured quite heavily in the first episode, and the audience would have noticed that her character was killed off. So it was nice to see that the Xmas episode paved the way for her return in a 'plausible' manner (even though it is yet clear).
Also, finding her almost seems to be a way for the Doctor to redeem himself for the loss of the Pond's.
