USA Network’s longest-running series currently on the air will continue to hold that title for at least another season. “What better holiday present to give our fans than to announce #Psych has been picked up for an 8th season! Happy holidays!,” the show’s Twitter feed announced earlier tonight. The pickup comes two months before the seventh season of the USA dramedy is set to premiere on February 27. It is unclear whether Season 8 will be Psych‘s last. The upcoming 16-episode seventh season includes the series’ 100th episode as well as a two-hour musical. Psych stars James Roday and Dule Hill and is from Universal Cable Prods. in association with Tagline Pictures.
