Star Wars 7: Samuel L. Jackson Says "Hell, Yeah" to Returning as Mace Windu

E News:
Samuel L. Jackson is game to return to the flick as Mace Windu as well.

In spite of his busy schedule (he already has three films in production), the Avengers actor told us he was "excited" that more Star Wars films were on the way and would love to be a part of them.

"I'm not surprised but totally geeked by the idea of there being more Star Wars," Jackson told E! News at the Spike TV Video Game Awards Friday. "It's like, okay, Obi-Wan was dead when episode four started, so maybe everyone thinks I'm dead and we'll find out what happened to Mace Windu. I can come back as one-armed or a one-handed Jedi that's still around that didn't actually die."

That's such a Sam Jackson thing to say...I read it in his voice too!

ReconHope4151d ago

lol he's got one classic voice.

I'm not much of a Star Wars fan so if he came back I wouldn't know much about his character anyway.

Spoiler

He freaking died.

They're talking about bringing back Vader and Mace....I don't really care for that. Only possible explanation would be if they were ghosts like Obi-Wan was in the original 3.

OneAboveAll4151d ago

Uh.... i'm pretty sure Anakin killed Mace. How would that work?

AssassinTRIP4151d ago

He did. Mace is dead. If they brought him back it would have to be some kind of cheesy flashback or hologram to make it remotely believable.

DarkBlood4149d ago

well to be honest all we saw was his hand or hands *i forgot* get chopped off and the emperor lighting strike him off the building thats all we ever SAW of him we could insanely assume he somehow survive "offscreen"

MilkMan4150d ago

How dafuq would this work?

this is star wars universe they can make a plot for him to have survived just to make the saga more engaging. it would be awesome to see mace windu alive, one handed and badly scarred or as a flashback cameo that will do as well.
