Push-Start Review: Great Expectations

"Actors are lazily blocked through dimly lit scenes, Richard Hartley’s score is barely worth murmuring, let alone humming (his CV consists of TV movies, go figure) and with nothing and nobody striving for your attention you’re better off reading the book. Because the fact is, the difference between you and Mike Newell is an imagination." (Cinema, Great Expectations) 3/10
