Season Review: Boardwalk Empire Season 3 [Geek Binge]

Geek Binge: Wow, what a season! HBO does it again with all the drama, sex, and violence we love so well. Steve Buscemi served it up as Nucky Thompson, the man who really runs Atlantic City. We got all the sociopolitical commentary we crave, saw a few characters develop and grow, and a few more frustratingly display their old patterns as if they’ve learned nothing. We saw the development of historical figures like Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, Arnold Rothstein, Bugs Seagal, and a lady-pilot who made history by attempting to fly around the world…and was never seen again. (Boardwalk Empire, TV) 9.5/10
