Ewan McGregor on Star Wars Episode 7: I'll Be Obi-Wan If They Need Me
Digital Spy
Ewan McGregor is willing to return to the Star Wars franchise.
The star of The Impossible confirmed to Digital Spy that he would be happy to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Disney's new Star Wars trilogy.
(Cinema, Ewan McGregor, Star Wars: Episode VII)
I couldn't imagine a use for him in the sequel trilogy (I mean, we've already seen the Obi-Wan ghost, and it'd be weird if his ghost was suddenly younger), but I'd be totally down for him being in one of the spin-off movies.
I don't think he'd be "Back" so much as maybe we'd see some back story with him or they could do him up with makeup to look much older than he is and then he'd be the ghost who is one with the force who perhaps talks to Luke, Leia or any of the other characters.

Could be anything really, but I don't see a need for Obi-Wan to be in it.
Ahhh thank god george lucas can no longer bastardize his work
seems like its evolving whether its bad or good
so it could happen.
i don't see what place he could have in it though, but a rematch with Maul would be cool. ^_^
