Hugh Jackman in Talks for X-Men: Days of Future Past

THR Heat Vision:

Although it should come as no big surprise, especially in light of yesterday's news, The Hollywood Reporter has now confirmed that Hugh Jackman is in talks to reprise his role as Wolverine in director Bryan Singer's upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Jackman would join a cast that has been confirmed to include James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. (Cinema, Hugh Jackman, X-Men: Days of Future Past)

He must really love his role as Wolverine (though who wouldn't)

How could he not be in this?

Even if he only has another epic 1 liner in this, it'd still be awesome to have him in the film

With The Wolverine being reported as the starting point of Fox's cohesive X-Men universe, this makes perfect sense!

he would definitely be a nice addition in the new sequel, i hope the storyline of days of the future's past would be simple and clean because too much characters and additional plots might make the movie too cramped up. but wolverine is an iconic character in x men so that would be a plus.
