The Playlist:
Though UK audiences were able to see the film months ago, Andrew Dominik’s third feature, “Killing Them Softly,” is finally landing in North America this Friday (read our review from Cannes here). And the studio has released a short behind-the-scenes video along with a brief clip from the film to drum up excitement.
First up is a brief EPK-like featurette showcasing some quick glimpses on set along with interviews with the cast and Dominik talking about Brad Pitt’s talents, among other things. The most notable part of the video, however, has to be James Gandolfini calling the Kiwi-born Australian helmer an auteur. We’re right behind you, buddy. Next up, there’s a clip online of Brad Pitt’s Jackie Cogan finally catching up and meeting with an intimidated Scoot McNairy in a bar. It’s short, but sweet.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I think I'm going to like this movie. It's a change for Brad Pitt and I like seeing him play the bad guy.
