Geek Binge: I’m not quite sure when exactly it happened, but sometime within the past month I became incredibly, unequivocally excited for Tom Hooper’s adaptation of the Broadway musical/sensation, “Les Miserables”. Maybe it was the fact that I’ve seen at least seven Anne Hathaway films in theaters, or maybe it was the fact that Russell Crowe’s singing voice sounds like what I imagine mountains would sound like if they could sing. Perhaps it all just comes back down to my life-long appreciation for the 1832 June Rebellion of Paris.
