DL: Sony Pictures today announced its biggest movie year ever at the global box office, passing $4 billion for the first time in the studio’s history. Thanks in large part to Skyfall becoming the biggest 007 film of all time (not adjusted for inflation, higher ticket prices, or IMAX premiums.) This weekend, the 23rd James Bond actioner grabbed a global cume of $669.2M and passed the $599.2M worldwide total taken in by Casino Royale in 2006.
Javier Bardem burst out of a cake dressed as a Bond girl for Daniel Craig's birthday during filming on 'Skyfall'.
James Bond has some truly epic gadgets at his disposal, and we are counting down the top ten of the coolest and most useful pieces of tech he has had the pleasure of using.

4 billion for the first time? This is kinda surprising.
It comes out here on Thursday. Going to see it friday. Cannot wait.
It's surprising to me too because they have so many blockbusters under their belt. I guess they just went all out this year with their known franchises, along with a few hidden gems making a surprise.
