Potential Star Wars Episode VII Director: 'I Will Hopefully Make It Not Suck'

CB: Of all the names that have surfaced as rumored directors for Star Wars Episode VII, one of the weirdest has been Safety Not Guaranteed helmer Colin Trevorrow… and it might also be the most accurate. Sure, tons of Star Wars fanatics have been dreaming of heavy hitters like Christopher Nolan or J.J. Abrams taking over the beloved series, but Star Wars is a brand name that doesn't need another big name attached, and new Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy seems likely to hire a newcomer for peanuts rather than shell out for an expensive, experienced director who could come in with too many opinions of his own. (Cinema, Colin Trevorrow, Star Wars: Episode VII)

so rather than make an epic star wars movie with a tried and tested director, they going to ride the star wars brand name and pay peanuts to a no name director who will undoubtedly make a crap movie but will make millions anyways coz it will be in 3D and people will wanna see it coz its star wars. then later they will give it to nolan or JJ to revive the series and apologize for previous mistakes.

yeah, they have this all planned out and we cant see through their bullshit.
